Non-Practising

A Registered Social Worker, not engaged in the practice of social work in British Columbia, may choose to transfer to the Non-Practising class of registration.

A Non-Practising registrant may not engage in any work, employment or volunteering, that involves the scope of practice of social workers in the province of B.C. This registration class is appropriate for registrants who are on parental or sick leave.
