This section of the website is designed to provide information about the licensure examination.  The authority for implementing an exam is found in the Social Workers Act in sections 3(2) and 9(1)(d), and in the Bylaws of the College in section 41(1)(d).  The provision for an exam is one that has been in the Bylaws (or Rules under the Board of Registration for Social Work) for many years.

Visitors will find a great deal of information about the exam and are encouraged to read the documentation on our website and the ASWB website.

ASWB has partnered with PSI for test administrations. Starting January 1, 2024, exam candidates can visit the PSI website to find available exam dates.
